Telegram is trolling the Indian government as the messaging app is banned in India to prevent fraud before the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on 21st June. For some time, officials have directed Telegram to disable its messaging editing feature in India. In one of the allegation on Telegram official account on X that extremist groups had operated telegram. Telegram showed an image that has blocked 109,351 terrorist-related communities in 2026. Telegram responded in a sarcastic way, where one of the users wrote, Telegram trolling the government was not on my list and Telegram in return responded, Weren't on mine either. Pavel Durov, Telegram CEO, said that this ban has punished 150 million users, and insiders who leaked the exam have shifted to other platforms.
