International Monetary Fund Reports India's Growth Projected At 6.4% In 2026

Despite West Asia conflicts, India continues to grow at 6.4 percent in 2026. IMF (International Monetary Fund) in its World Economic Outlook report shared that India continues to grow despite a global slowdown in the economy. The world trade volume may decline to 3.5 percent in 2026. In a developing economy, growth is estimated to reach 3.8 percent in 2026. China is estimated to slow to 4.6 percent while Malaysia is estimated to grow at 4.7 percent. Vietnam has revised its growth upward to 7.5 percent. IMF has reported that UK growth may fall by 1 percent, while Korea's growth may increase to 2.6 percent due to semiconductor demand. Japan may slow down its growth to 0.6 percent, while Central Asia and the Middle East's growth will fall to 0.7 percent in 2026. Core inflation may return to targets slowly. The IMF has reported that inflation targets will be met in the United States by the end of 2027 and mid-2027 in the UK.
