Radisson Hotel Group has signed 10 new hotel expansion growth strategies in business and religious corridors. This includes Radisson Blu, Park Inn and Suites by Radisson, Radisson Individual Premier, Radisson Individual Retreats and Park Inn by Radisson expansion in developing markets. India's hospitality growth is spread across business, wildlife and religious corridors, says Nikhil Sharma, MD of Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia. A franchise-led model would help to scale into tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India, and spreading wings in emerging markets would help to stand apart in our India growth story.
Apart from this, the Radisson Group is going to set up hotels in Andhra Pradesh, Vrindavan and Tirupati. They will also set up hotels in Bengaluru due to its industrial demand and heritage attraction. Radisson Group plans to set up in micro markets with five hotels in the pipeline and seven operational properties in Bengaluru. Radisson is about to set up in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Nainital and Jharkhand, and Karnataka due to its growing industrial and heritage attractions. Radisson Group of hotels is expanding in greenfield developments and resort projects along with pilgrimage and wildlife destinations, says VP, Davashis Srivastava.
