BJP leader Rajnath Singh attended a public meeting in Birbhum, while Abhishek Bandopadhyay, a Trinamool Congress leader, attended a public conference at Ranibandh in Bankura. Nitin Nabin, BJP president, might attend a road show in Medinipur, while Mamta Banerjee, chief minister of West Bengal, will address a public meeting in Khardaha in North 24 Parganas. Today, Congress president Kharge will attend a public meeting in Siliguri and Coochbehar.
