RANCHI- Digital consumption has reached a record high among students. The Solunity Foundation, in collaboration with the Center for Education, organized a high-impact awareness event titled "Parenting and Screen Time" at Studio Trends, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The workshop featured Manveer Kaur Anand, a renowned mental health counselor and author, who addressed a large number of students and educators on the psychological necessity of digital boundaries. The event aimed to raise awareness among parents with actionable strategies to transition students from passive screen addiction to creative engagement.
Dilbir Singh, renowned blogger and Director, Solunity Foundation, highlighted the scarcity of professional guidance in this niche. This digital lifestyle has created a huge gap in parenting skills. Counselors like Manveer Kaur Anand are helping parents and children to navigate this "screen-age" crisis, Singh remarked.
Menka Sen, Director of the Education Center, confirmed that this workshop marks the beginning of a long-term collaborative series committed to holistic development and student mental health in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This workshop was attended by prominent community leaders, including Paramjit Kaur, Savita Kumari, and Balvir Singh Saluja (Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School).
