Sunil Shetty is a very prominent respected and loved Bollywood figure, who, despite not being in active films for decades, still rules over the hearts and his movies are still loved by people from all walks of age. It is so because he has very high social ethics, morals and values. He was offered an ad worth ₹40 crores for endorsing a tobacco product.  He declined it because he feels that his temple is that his body is a temple and he cannot endorse a product is not fit for entering a temple. He says that if he promotes such products, the young boys who look up to him will be misled. As a social and morally responsible person, he should not be doing it. Money of course, is a important factor but not as much that he would do something which is ethically not correct.  On speaking in a podcast, he says that he loves his body and owes it to a disciplined life. Thus, endosing, a tobacco product would be a very bad.and a run. It is his fit body and high social values that make him relevant even today. However, after refusing the tobacco ad of ₹,40 crores he was never , ever offered any such other product.
