RANCHI- The Solunity Foundation and Center for Education have successfully hosted a joint awareness workshop on Parenting and Screen Time to address the growing digital challenges modern parents are facing at Studio Trends, Ranchi.
The session was hosted by noted author, coach, and mental health counselor Manveer Kaur Anand, who provided her insights into managing the psychological impact of digital consumption. The event saw a robust turnout of educators and students, highlighting the major issue of screen addiction among children.
Dilbir Singh, Director and Founder of the Solunity Foundation and a prominent food blogger, emphasized the urgency of counselors like Manveer Kaur Anand. While screen addiction is a major concern among students and parents, few experts are actively spreading awareness on how to address this problem, Singh said.
Menka Sen, Director of the Center for Education, lauded the counselor's impactful work and announced that their organizations would continue to collaborate on awareness programs in the future.
The Workshop was attended by several delegates, including:
Savita Kumari and Paramjit Kaur (Directors, Solunity Foundation)
Balvir Singh Saluja (Member, Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School)
Islam Ansari, Sajid Anwar, and Dolly Yadav.
The workshop concluded with a call to action for parents to implement more intentional digital habits at home.
