PM Narendra Modi, along with Nordic leaders, had a press conference where Modi discussed that India and the Nordic regions can combine sustainability with India's scale to address global concerns in the future. PM Modi said that over the past decade, Nordic investments have increased in India by 200 percent, which has generated employment opportunities for both countries. India has a stable relationship with Nordic regions.
PM Modi also said that all the Nordic countries bring expertise in different sectors, like Iceland in geothermal energy, Sweden in defence, Finland in digital technology, and Denmark in cybersecurity and health, that will boost startups, businesses, research and development, employment generation, skill development and talent mobility. Nordic leaders showed positive confidence in this strategic partnership.
