FM, Kishore sent a letter to the Home Secretary to transfer the DDO’s involved in the fraudulent transactions from the salary. He also requested that CID teams investigating the matter should not include DDO’s who have served the involved district. DDO’s have permission to withdraw funds from the government treasury; only signatures allow the withdrawal of funds. This means that DDO’s are responsible for the salary withdrawals. On government orders, CID is investigating this matter. From the salary head, Rs 35 to 40 crore withdrawals are made in Khunti, Bokaro, Hazaribagh and Chaibasa districts. CM Hemant Soren has ordered a high-level investigation. Action will be taken against guilty officers.
