Abhijieet Dipke from Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, launched a Cockroach Janta Party, following a controversy over Chief Justice of India Kant's remark on cockroaches and parasites. Cockroach Janta Party has gained the attention of 19 million followers within four days. CJP is gaining support from various activists, millions of social media users, and politicians across India. Abhijeet Dipke, founder of Cockroach Janta Party, is only 30 years old, currently studying a master's in public relations at Boston University. CJP founder had worked for Aam Aadmi Party's social media team as a volunteer from 2020 to 2023.

Some of them become RTI activists, some of them become media, and some of them become social media, and they attack everyone, Chief Justice of India Kant said during a hearing on 15th May. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant said, "It is deeply painful to read how a part of the media has misquoted my observations of a frivolous case yesterday. CJI Surya Kant said that my remarks were directed at individuals entering the legal profession through "bogus and fake degrees".
