N Chandrasekaran will present a detailed strategy on loss-making businesses under Tata Sons on 26th May. This includes Air India and Tata Digital businesses where significant investments are made. Tata Trusts Chairperson Noel Tata had raised questions in a board meeting in February related to the performance of the new ventures and will address them separately on 26th. This is the reason why the Tata Sons chairperson will share a detailed strategy, as currently the losses of Rs 29,000 crore are estimated in these new businesses. Other businesses, including Tata 1 mg, Croma, and Tata Neu, are also a big concern, as Tata Sons has invested Rs 24,000 crore in these businesses and they are still unprofitable.
